親愛的家長與學生們：
我們萬里對學生們的計劃如下：
1) 11年生 (1月~6月)
我們現在推動申請 Summer Program, 特別是高難度的 (Ex. TASP, SiMR, RSI). 進了這些Summer Program, 你的機會進名校就大大增加！
同時，我們也幫學生們準備College Essay (大學論文)。 目標是6月時候你的大學論文都寫好了； 就可以安安心心去Summer Program. 回來時候在寫Summer Program的經驗 - 就可以申請了。
所以有了好幾篇的上等大學論文 ， 我們就可以討論 School List (申請 學校名單)！

10年生也要申請 Summer Program， 做一個橋梁 for 明年高難度的Summer Program (Ex. TASP, SiMR, RSI).
你們10年級開始寫Summer Program論文 ，也是打好大學論文的基礎！
還有，萬里現在幫10年生把SAT/ACT攻下來， 因為春天是最好 時間考SAT/ACT。 10年級考好SAT/ACT ， 你明年只攻AP Class; 就比較輕鬆。 這個就是我們萬里的策略。
3) 好消息：速讀文學班3月開始!
也許大家有聽到別的教育機構幫學生包裝； 讓學生們有 “長槍短刀，與名校開戰.”
萬里有什麼秘密武器了？ 我們有"戰鬥機"- 速讀文學班 (Book Club).
萬里的Book Club會讓我們學生速讀 非美國，非英國作家的書。 這些書長春藤特別喜歡！更好的消息是我們是讀短篇 Short Stories. Example, Tolstoy, Chekhov, Kakfka, Murakami, etc. 我們會提供給學生 Summary; 所以學生們很快就提高文學知識。
理工的學生就會有
文理並重。 文學的學生更需要文學速讀！
所以萬里學生開著"戰鬥機”, 還會怕對手有 “長槍短刀”嗎？
萬里的速讀文學班在3月開始；時間地點再告訴大家。

Dear 10th & 11th graders:
Since the New Year has started, this some “Secret Strategies” planned for you as follows:
1) 11th graders (From Jan to June 2015)
Right now we are helping you with applying to Summer Programs. At the same time, we are preparing your College Essay from Jan to June. So the goal to finish most of your College Essays before Summer. When you come back from your great Summer programs, then you just need to write about your summer experience; then ALL your essays will be done!
Summer 2015, before Schools starts – we will discuss your School List AND Early Application Strategy!
Again, getting into these competitive Summer Programs will allow you to stand out in College Applications! So we are moving up the Essay Writing Process NOW!
2) 10th grader (From Jan to June 2015)
You will also be applying for Summer Programs to help you get into the best Summer Programs for Junior Year (like TASP, SiMR, RSI, etc).
You are actually starting the essay writing process right NOW as 10th graders, and you can beat your competition easily!
For 10th graders, we are helping those with SAT and ACT Testing because Spring = best time for SAT and ACT testing. Once you receive a good SAT/ACT score, then 11th grade would be less stressful since you only need to worry about your Classes.
3) Announcing Book Club Meeting to Open in March (Our Secret Weapon)
We will review non-American, non-British Literature because it works for Ivy League Applications. No, you don’t need to read 2000 pages of Tolstoy. NO ONE has time to read that much. We will read short stories of authors such as Tolstoy, Chekhov, Kakfka, Murakami, etc. We also have summaries of these stories – which is perfect for students will have many classes and activities. So this is Literature Made Easy! This way, we have review many, many short stories by great authors to make you look VERY SMART – FAST!
