Rooted in Nature Power to Broad and Vigorous World
Born at the land between Changbai Mountain and Yalu River of Northeast China, Li Xia shows her artistic talent since she was young. She loves to use her brush to paint the beautiful nature and all the wonderful stuffs in her eyes. Plus the theoretically study in major of Fine Art for Mater’s degree at Luxun Academy of Fine Art, Li Xia absorbs the spirit of Traditional Chinese Painting and moves forward by combing with Vincent van Gogh’s Impressionism.
Meticulous Re-Color painting is Li Xia’s style, while Hero Figures and Running Horses are the Theme of her art works. With her fine brushwork and vivid expression of figures in her painting, Xia’s large-scale painting The Strong Youth Leading to a Powerful Country was successfully chose to China National 12th Fine Art Exhibition in 2014. Xia’s series paintings of Apotheosis of Boke (Wrestling Hero at Hulunbeier Prairie of Inner Mongolia) surprised the art field and were praised by so many famous artists, such as Ding Shaoguang.Almost every single art work was collected by different organizations, agents, collectors when she just finished, including Liaoning Religious Bureau, Chinese Consulate General Los Angeles, Monterey Park City Hall, and etc.
Rooted in nature, Li Xia’s art works are full of positive attitude, heroism, broadness of nature, harmony of society and hope to the future. In 2015, Li Xia was invited by the Chinese Calligraphy & Painting Society of USA to show her art works at U.S.-China Calligraphy & Chinese Painting Show 2015, and Apotheosis of Boke and Running Horses were awarded during the event.
Currently, Li Xia is member of Macao Artist Society and Chinese Calligraphy & Painting Society of USA.
