A： 公立UC 或是私立大學? 請看看大學學費帳單, 每家不同, 舉個例子: 如果學生進了UC Santa Cruz, 自付額 $5000 一年 (四年自付$20,000), 同時也進了外卅公立大學, University of Washington, 華盛頓大學, 自付額 $50,000一年 (四年自付$200,000), 因為加卅居民, 到 Washington 卅付外卅生學費, 這個節股眼是教小孩個人理財的最佳時間, 真心建議華人家庭, 能以美國腦判斷上哪個大學的核心基礎,以家庭自付額為決策基準.
在加卅新移民家庭，在填statement of legal resident 需要特別小心, 才能qualify 加卅UC居民本卅生的學費 ($12,000一年本卅生), 外卅一居民及國際生學費 ($40,000一年). 新移民家庭, 請來電諮詢.
