The Consulate-General of Turkey in Los Angeles is one of the five Turkish consular missions in the USA, the rest of which are located in New York, Chicago and Houston.
Since its inception in 1968, our Consulate-General has been implementing its consular services and diplomatic duties throughout a jurisdiction area covering the West Coast of the United States, namely Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, California, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming and Hawaii.
Our Consulate-General also incorporates the Los Angeles Offices of the Educational Attaché, the Culture and Tourism Attaché and the Commercial Attaché, which have been operational since 1988, 2004 and 2007 respectively.
The working hours of the Consulate-General is from 8:30 am to 16:00 pm through Monday to Friday. The timeframe for applications-in-person is from 09:00 am to 12:00 noon, while the inquires via telephone are answered from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
All inquires for visa issues and other consular affairs can also be answered by the Consular Call Center that can be reached at +1-888-566 76 56. The Call Center is operational from 8:30am to 16:30pm (CT time zone) from Monday through Friday.
In the West Coast of the USA, there are also two Honorary Consul-Generals of Turkey in San Francisco/California and Sacramento/California.
