濱崎步 First-Ever U.S. Showing of AYU’s 3D Live Concert in LA

Los Angeles, CA — ¬Screening of Japan’s top female singer, Ayumi Hamasaki’s live concert in 3D will take place on September 1st and 2nd, 2012 at Downtown Independent Theater (251 South Main St., Los Angeles, CA.).

Ayumi Hamasaki, known by fans as AYU is the “Queen of J-Pop”, and has recorded chart-toppers for over 10 years in the Oricon music sales rankings in Japan, and also holds loyal fans in China, Korea, and across the Asian continent.

One of her recent tours, “Ayumi Hamasaki Arena Tour 2009 ~NEXT LEVEL~” which toured in 12 major cities in Japan, drawing approximately 300,000 fans, was filmed in 3D. The 3D concert film was awarded the “Electronic Broadcast Media, Live Event Award” at the 2012 “3D Creative Arts Awards” this past February. Since this prestigious recognition, “A3D Ayumi Hamasaki ARENA TOUR 2009 ~NEXT LEVEL~” and “A3D II ayumi hamasaki Rock’n’Roll Circus Tour FINAL ~7days Special~” were screened in theaters across Japan.

This screening in LA will be the first J-pop 3D Live Concert screening in the US. Come out and feel the sensation of AYU’s high-energy and large-scale live concert through the big screen.
