Stephen K. Ching, OD
Dr. Ching received his B.S. degree in Nutritional Science at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1985, Physiological Optics, University of California at Berkeley, 1987, and his Doctorate in Optometry, University of California at Berkeley, 1989. He is a member of the American Optometric Society and of the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society.
He enjoys sports (especially fishing!), jogging, spending time with his four-legged "kids" (the dogs), and his real kids(Carissa, Carter, Chelsea, and Cailee). He thoroughly enjoys being able to care for his patients' eye care needs. Many of his patients have undergone laser procedures and have been so thrilled with the results hat they refer their friends and family.
Lori D. Kam, OD
Dr. Kam received her B.S. degree in Genetics from the University of California at Berkeley,1984, Physiological Optics, University of California Berkeley, 1986, and her Doctorate in Optometry, University of California at Berkeley, 1988.
Dr. Kam finds her career and family life so fulfilling. She and Dr. Ching are married and have four children, including twin girls.
Dr. Kam finds her work with patients so rewarding. She thrives on being able to help them see well and maintain healthy eyes. She is excited about the newest advances that can enhance a patient's vision and life! She has been interviewed on the local news and Parenting Monthly. Dr. Kam also volunteers for local free eye screenings and visits schools to give presentations to the children.
